About

Everyone has a blog.  Even Rob has one.  Naturally, Rob’s blog is far less useful than many others, but it is here nonetheless.  A note about who reads this site and why: people read this site because they have some level of interest in Rob’s life.  We don’t know why.  But that’s what this blog is about.  IF you are a spammer, troll, etc., be warned that your efforts are futile.  Rob will happily delete your account and all related posts if you are one of these folks.  If you have a gmail or mail.ru account, unless you communicate with Rob prior to registration your account will be deleted as soon as Rob sees it.  Yes, this is a dictatorship.  Mostly benevolent, but all decisions are Rob’s and are final.

Rob is a caring nurturer with a passion for electronics, photography, high-fidelity audio, cars that are fun to drive, and the reduction of perfectly good, large pieces of wood into ever-increasingly smaller bits of wood.  Occasionally, he stops with the reduction while there is still some use in the wood. Rob is tormented by his wife and adorable daughters, with the potential for additional tormentors in the near future.

While 2005Dauphin does in fact refer to a specific location, it also represents a state of mind.  Mostly, the state of Rob’s mind. This is not necessarily something that you, dear reader, really WANT to understand.  So, just take it as a name that means something to someone else and move past.
